I wrote this song for my daughter while I was expecting my second child.  I think she was as excited as I was at the prospect of a new little person coming into the family.  I wanted to put to rest any anxiety she may be feeling about the change to our lives, so that the whole experience could be a wonderful one for her, and she would never doubt how much she was loved.  And for the record, still is.  :-)
